Short Burst 15/3 is a preset with 15 min of focus, a 3 min short break, and a 10 min long break. You take a long break after every 4 focus sessions.
With 15 minutes of focus and a 3‑minute break, this preset lowers the barrier to starting. When you tell yourself ‘just 15 minutes,’ it's easy to touch a task you've been avoiding — and once you've started, it becomes far easier to keep going.
It's great on days when your focus is short or you're tired, or when you want to break a tedious task into small pieces. Repeat it a few times without pressure and build up a rhythm.
